Christopher’s Overlook is a new education farm based in Clinton. We serve as a hub for the community to experience and learn about agriculture. We offer virtual, on-farm, and custom experiences. All our experiences are certified as part of Pick Tennessee Products, connecting you directly with Tennessee agriculture and helping you to live and shop local.
ON-FARM EXPERIENCES
ON-FARM EXPERIENCES
PRIVATE FARM PICNIC WITH GOATS
$25/person
Bring your own food and enjoy an intimate experience of a private picnic at the farm. You will be guided to a serene picnic area positioned at the top of a rolling pasture, surrounded by a flower garden. After you enjoy your food, you will have the opportunity to join our miniature goats in the pasture. They are precious, friendly animals who love a good chin scratch and treats. They may even lay down on a blanket next to you.
This experience is the perfect atmosphere for date nights, anniversaries, engagements, girls' nights, and any other fun reason to gather together!
VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES
COFFEE WITH TOM HANKS AND WILSON THE GOATS
$14/person
Are you ready to start your morning off right? Have coffee with Tom Hanks and Wilson the goats! Settle into your cozy seat at home to sip your preferred morning beverage. Did you know that coffee is rumored to have been discovered by a shepherd, Kaldi, and his herd of goats in Ethiopia? Hear the story behind the legend of the dancing goats. Then, follow Farmer Audrey through the morning routine at Christopher's Overlook.
This experience is great for virtual celebrations, schools, team building, dates, and family events.
FIELD TRIPS
Starting at $40/classroom
We offer virtual field trips to educators across the globe. Join Farmer Audrey as she introduces students to sustainability and what that means on the farm.
Field trips come in two formats:
20-minute field trip: $40/classroom
Meet the goats, play some science-based trivia, and take a quick tour of the farm.
30-minute field trip: $50/classroom
Take a deeper dive into a specific topic of your choice. Topics can range from animal care, plant science, water quality, or wildlife management.
This experience blends well with PK-12 classrooms or clubs. It's a great way to show your favorite teacher how much you appreciate them!
CUSTOM EXPERIENCES
RENT A GOAT
$100/hr
A small travel fee is applied to destinations greater than 30 minutes from Christopher's Overlook.
Tom Hanks the goat is available for off-farm bookings! He can bring a unique touch of joy to any event you are hosting.
There are endless possibilities- birthday parties, business and social events, senior homes, family reunions, markets and festivals, church activities, school assemblies, and more!
